Dr. David Hart is currently the principal investigator at The Neurology Group: Albany Med Community Division in Albany, New York, and has also served as the Chief of Neurology and Medical Director for several neurological institutions in the past. He has over 26 years of experience in clinical neurology. He has been a member of the faculty at Albany Medical College since 1993, where he has served as clinical associate professor of neurology. Dr. Hart is certified by the American Board of Psychiatry and Neurology (ABPN) in Neurology with added qualifications in clinical neurophysiology. He is also a fellow of the American Academy of Neurology, and a member of the AAN's Geriatric Neurology section. He is on the Board of Directors for the Alzheimer's Association of NENY.
Dr. Hart has participated in clinical trials since 1995, with his main interest in dementias and Alzheimer's disease. He also has expertise in the subspecialty of neurophysiology and peripheral nerve disorders (including Guillain-Barre syndrome).
Dr. Hart's research team includes 3 RN's who are certified Clinical Research Coordinators and a certified Physician Assistant. This dedicated team has provided 41 years combined experience. This includes dementia rating scales, phlebotomy, pharmacology, recruitment and regulatory operations to provide advanced care and research treatment to their patients.
